Insurance Programs Accepted

We currently have physician provider contracts with the following:
  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross of California
  • Blue Cross Prudent Buyer Network
  • Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Coastal TPA, Inc.
  • Community Health Plan
  • Monterey Culinary Insurance Fund

This means that we will expect your co-payment at the time of your visit and will bill your insurance plan for you, and they will pay us directly. We are not participating providers with Medicare. What this means is that we expect payment for services at the time of your visit. We WILL bill Medicare for you and Medicare will send the insurance payment check DIRECTLY to you. If you have a secondary insurance, Medicare will also go ahead and submit the residual insurance claim to them for you as well.

 

If you are a Medicare patient and you have not received an Explanation of Benefits and payment within 4 weeks, the number to call at Medicare with questions is 1-800-952-8627. You will need to give them the date that you were seen in the office.
